Dear Friend,

I am writing to invite you and your club to join us in celebrating Older Peoples Day Uk at Great Yarmouth Library and the Time and Tide Museum on Saturday 1st October. The day has something for everyone and is open to all ages.

There is a host of activities at the library includes from the screening of rare amateur footage from the 1930′s-1950′s of east coast holidays rare as part of the BBC Reel History of Britain (currently on BBC 2 at 18:30), reminiscence sessions, learning to play brass instruments, looking at vintage displays and chance to see the digitally enhanced Westside Story to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

Time and Tide will be offering the chance for a nostalgic look back at the Rock and Roll years with vintage displays, old fashion games, Patricia the Fisher girl AND Dance demonstrations.

Hope the attached information tells you more and that you could let your members know. If you would like leaflets and flyers please let me know or call into the library.

Please let me know if you would like to receive information about future events and we can add you to our mailing list.

Look forward to seeing you on the 1st October.

Kind regards
