Our next meeting is the AGM. We are always looking for more people to get involved and maybe join our small committee. If you are
interested and need more details pop in and speak to Wendy or telephone me or Shaun.

After the business of the AGM, we have invited Andy Wells, the Crew Manager of the Fire Station. Andy will speak with us about fire
safety in the home and answer any questions you may have.

Shaun and I had a meeting with Brandon Lewis MP. We presented a letter to him on behalf of our group highlighting the concerns I
think that we all have about the changes in the benefits such as DLA. We felt it was a good meeting and we will update you all at
the AGM.

I am happy to report that my sponsored weight loss was a success. We raised £100.00 for the VIP User Group. I lost 1 stone 2lbs. I
am still hopefully losing weight as I need to get into my suit when Wendy and I attend the Royal Garden Party at Sandringham. We
have been invited there as representatives of our group. We are looking forward to the day.

On behalf of the group I would like to wish Mr. John Child a happy retirement and say a big thank you to him. His replacement as CEO
is Brigadier Max Marriner. We would like to invite Max to a future meeting.

I had a great time at the Tea Dance at NNAB Norwich a couple of weeks ago. Many thanks to Diane and all that help there. I hope that
I did not tread on too many peoples toes!
