World Sight Day 13th October 2012

The Lions are celebrating their World Sight Day here in Great Yarmouth, on Saturday 13th October in the Market Place in front of
Burtons, from 10:30am to 2:30pm.

They will be encouraging shoppers to wear a blindfold, and asking them to identify money and goods, to teach them and the public
what it is like being visually impaired and having to cope on a daily basis with the task of shopping.

Along with the Lions, the NNAB (Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind) and us, the VIP User Group, will be there too to
offer advice and information plus there will be the “Connecting up a MP3 player” mystery box too!

So please tell your friends, family and members to come along and learn a little bit about sight loss!
