COOP Bank and Nationwide joins Project to make their ATMs talks

Last week, 8th January, COOP Bank has joined the growing movement to make all ATMs accessible to blind customers.

On the RNIB web site, as part of their campaign “Make Money Talk”, the COOP Bank announces that over the next two years, they will upgrade 75% of all their Automated Telling Machines (ATMs)

This follows Nationwide’s own commitment to join with NCR, the biggest worldwide manufacturer of ATMs, to develop specialised software to make their machines talk to blind users.

Both also explained that there will be high contrast colour options to help partially sighted customer as well.
