    We invited the Matron of the Othphalmic Ward in the James Paget Hospital to come to our November 2009 meeting.

    The Matron manages the team of nurses and support staff,to look after the patients with eye related conditions.

    Update:
    The Matron, Sarah Morris, did attend and explained her and her team’s role in her ward. She recieved lots of suggestions from members about how to treat patients better who might need that extra bit of support and understanding including those with dual sensory loss (Deaf and Blind).
